Misty Melo

Misty Melo began training Labrador Retrievers in Redding, CA 15 years ago as an amateur, titling multiple dogs in AKC hunt tests and providing successful breed lines. Misty trained under several of the top handlers in the industry early on which helped her gain the skills and patience needed to develop Labrador retrievers to be successful as both competition dogs and gun dogs. Misty currently resides in Mount Shasta, California where she trains Labradors.

Kerry Lavin

Kerry has been a retriever training enthusiast since a friend took her waterfowl hunting for the first time over 20 years ago.  It was the dog work that so impressed her and soon after she began training her own hunting dog.  The passion for training has grown and now Kerry competes in hunting tests and field trials.  "I love the challenge of the higher level training and enjoy seeing what these magnificent animals are capable of doing," Kerry says.
